The FDC Field Advisors will: meet with up to 3 assigned Family Development Credential (FDC) class participants on an individual basis throughout the duration of the class (September 2012 through May 2013) to supervise the development of the required portfolio. This position is responsible for modeling the family development principles and supervising the development of a portfolio for each assigned participant. This position also participates as a member of the FDC team; may occasionally substitute teach; markets program and recruits class; and connects candidates to FDANYS for ongoing support.
Requirements:
• Must be FDC credentialed (FDC Graduate)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Portfolio Advisement Training from National FDC will be required. Date to be announced in August 2012.
• Must be able to pass an acceptable background check. Employment will be conditional pending the outcome of the check.
